DealExtreme - Gadget and Gizmo Heaven.

DealExtreme - Gadget and Gizmo Heaven

A few months ago I finally got my Paypal and ebay accounts. the Paypal account in particular opened me up to do business with many companies outside of ebay, who accept Paypal as a primary form of payment.

My first choice was a site I had long visited, but never been able to purchase from previously, DealExtreme.

I have to say I have had some -VERY- pleasant experiences with this company. They have the absolute best prices on pretty much everything a Gadget-and-gizmo lover could want.

I started in December by purchasing 2 Toptoy DSTT Nintendo DS flashcards. They arrived to my U.S. address promptly, labeled as what they are, not simply as "a gift" like many import companies do by default. Both of them worked immediately with my DS systems and existing SDHC cards I had. According to DSTT's website, they are the "Real" and "Newest" versions of the DSTT cartridge, and the latest DSTT firmware works properly and perfectly on them.

More recently I placed another order, when I got my hands on an iPod Shuffle, for a charger adapter for it. It arrived within 2 weeks, marked as an iPod acessory and worked absolutely perfectly with my Shuffle. Synced with iTunes with no issues and transferred data at a comparable rate to the Apple-branded adapter/charger cable.

Finally as of my msot recent order, with some of my birthday money, I placed an order for a Flshdrive/Ink-pen/Camera combo at $25. The item however went out of stck and production almost immediately as I was placing my order. In this case I spoke with the CSR at DealExtreme and she replaced my order quickly and easily. I decided to wait until later to get a newer version of the ink-pen and isntead opted to use the money I had spent aleady (a refund was offered but I refused in lieu of just re-placing my order) and ordered 2 more DSTT cartridges, a Sony PSP "Pandora" battery, a MicroSD/SDHC USB Card reader, and 10 injectors of thermal heat-reduction paste (similar to Arctic Silver, just not a brand name).

After I've had a bit more time, I will post pictorial reviews of all the items I have ordered. The DSTT cards are 100% "Real" according to the DSTT website. I actually opened them up and looked at the circuit board, comparing them to the pictures.
